Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Shlesinger who was born 22nd February 1983 is an American comedian as well as an actress, host of a television show executive producer, and screenwriter. She was the 2008 winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went on to host the syndicated dating show Excused and the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.





 Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late night talk show. She has six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix has launched her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.



 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was the daughter of an Jewish family. She was raised to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who moved to the city when she was just a newborn. She went to Addison's exclusive Greenhill School, Texas where she studied Spanish and was part of the school's improvisation team.





 Shlesinger performed with ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She participated in Semester at Sea. She went to Emerson College in Boston. The college was where she studied film and edited. She also became a member in Jimmy's comedy sketch group Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger graduated from college and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one of the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her to the stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
