Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was apparent from the time she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she was 2nd in the 200-meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school in 2003 and signed with Adidas to become a professional athlete. Following that, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. She was the youngest world champion of 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007 beating her longtime Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo regularly placing in the top three places in all her events.
